DESCRIPTION:One of the most entertaining events of the year for dogs   will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday\, Jan. 19\, 2019\, at The Fur Seasons Resort for Pets\, 1310 SW Commerce Way. The event\, now its third year\, has gained a reputation for providing fun for the entire family\, especially for the four-legged members.\n\n \n\n"Guests may recall that we used to hold this event in April but we decided to move it to January because the weather is cooler for the dogs\," said Drue Pollack\, co-owner of The Fur Seasons. "Everyone has so much fun watching the dogs romp around the obstacle course and swim in the pool."\n\n \n\nAdmission is free as well as some of the activities\, including expert dog trainer Laurie Volpe's No Jump Clinic and movies that feature dogs as the stars. A $10 donation will be collected for the Doggie Fun Zone courses\, which are multi-dimensional lure/obstacle courses suitable for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Dogs also can swim in a bone-shaped pool for a $10 contribution. All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.\n\n \n\nThe Humane Society will have pets on hand that are available for adoption. Other activities include a silent auction and various vendors and food will be available for purchase. To further support the Palm City shelter\, a raffle will be held for the chance to win two round-trip tickets to anywhere in the continental United States or a $500 and $250 Visa gift card.
