Pack your hula skirt, it’s time for the third annual United Way of Martin County Tikis on the Terrace presented by Bank of America. Festivities begin on Friday, March 27, at 6 p.m. at the Mansion at Tuckahoe with music, tropical-inspired food, unlimited libations, and traditional Polynesian entertainment provided by Aloha Islanders Entertainment. Tickets are $85 before Feb. 15 and $110 after and can be purchased online at UnitedWayMartin.org/Tiki.
Last year more than 200 guests attended the second annual Tikis on the Terrace and raised $14,000 for Martin County’s hunger relief initiatives. This year, funds raised will go toward United Way’s Tools for Success program. Nearly 60% of students in Martin County do not have the basic school supplies to start the year off right. In its first year, Tools For Success provided over 8,300 children with supplies for their classroom, saving Martin County families over $58,000. This program has a lofty goal of supporting all Martin County schools by year five.
United Way of Martin County invests in programs that strive to enhance healthy living, improve education, and support financial stability.
Sponsors include Bank of America; C&W Business Systems; Cleveland Clinic Martin Health; HBK CPAs and Consultants; and Publix.
