Dr. Ronald Pestritto is the Dean, Van Andel Graduate School of Statesmanship and the Charles and Lucia Shipley Chair in the American Constitution at Hillsdale College. He teaches political philosophy, American political thought and American politics. He is a senior fellow at the Hillsdale College Kirby Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship and a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute. He is the author of seven books including Woodrow Wilson and the Roots of Modern Liberalism. Dr. Pestritto has written widely on progressivism and the administrative state for publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Claremont Review of Books and has appeared as a commentator on Fox News.

* Proceeds from this luncheon will support scholarships for Martin County high school students in an annual “Constitution Academic Competition” operated in partnership with the Martin County School District. This competition, before a panel of jurists, is unique to Martin County. It is widely recognized for challenging our future leaders to gain greater knowledge and understanding of the importance of the U.S. Constitution.
