This not to be missed “Gospera” Gospel-Opera, is an original story depicting the relationship, and sometimes the lack thereof, of the church goers and non-church goers. This fictional, yet realistic high energy story is centered on a local church and its congregation and two individuals with knowledge of the church but are no longer affiliated with the church. The Gospera is an original soundtrack written and produced by Chandler M. Josie showcasing various forms of gospel music such as contemporary gospel, traditional gospel, hip-hop and praise and worship to name a few filled with one of a kind, thought provoking lyrical content. To the spirit moving soul-stirring rhythm of Sunday morning, from the view of a sanctuary pew and the pavement across the street from the church, this one of a kind narrative highlights the importance of communication and how the lack of communication can give the appearance of situations seeming further apart than what they actually are. 2 Sides to Sunday debuted last year to astounding reviews and immediate requests for an encore. Eager to answer the call for an encore and motivated to further develop the original production, the original music inclusion was doubled and will have you on your feet and at moments seated in deep contemplation with the relatable communication challenges. Army Veteran, Chandler M. Josie, the writer, director and producer of this presentation is from Port Salerno, FL and he along with his wife, Marionette Jiles-Josie, from Hobe Sound, FL, are the co-owners of the presenting company, Ideas Equal Freedom, LLC.
