March Women's History Month

Since 1995, March has been proclaimed as Women’s History Month, celebrating the contributions of women in American history. Please plan to attend the event scheduled for Saturday, March 9, from 1:30 to 2:30

Talk by Robert Shurts, Air Force veteran, on the contributions of women in military history. Talk will  include, but not limited to, Heddy Lamarr, Josephine Baker, Alex Borstein's family’s experience, Frances Langford, Rosie The Riveter, Marlene Dietrich, and Robert’s own family,  Before of after  the event, feel free to peruse items from Civil War to present day conflicts inside the original WWII barracks from Jonathan Dickinson State Park.
