Santa Paws Holiday Pooch Plunge

Santa Paws Holiday Pooch Plunge, presented by Apex Pavers & Pools, returns this holiday season to benefit the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. For just $10 per pup, dogs of all sizes are invited to participate in an open-swim session at Sailfish Splash Waterpark in Stuart, before the facility closes for winter. The event begins at 10 am and will conclude at 1 pm. You can register at the door, starting at 9:30 am or purchase your tickets in advance at hstc1.org/poochplunge. In addition to the open swim, attendees can partake in Selfies with Santa and a 50/50 raffle, while enjoying cheerful holiday music and grabbing lunch at one of the participating food trucks! All event attendees are encouraged to bring canned cat or dog food for the four-legged clients of House of Hope, just in time for the pawlidays.

Details: Dogs of all sizes and breeds are invited to participate in an open swim session at the waterpark before the facility closes for winter. Admission is $10 per dog. All proceeds benefit the shelter animals at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Online pre-registrations are encouraged at www.hstc1.org/poochplunge. Guests also may bring canned dog or cat food for the House of Hope’s four-legged friends. Event activities include Selfies with Santa, holiday music, a 50/50 raffle and the opportunity to have lunch from one of the onsite food trucks.
 
Requirements: Dogs are the only pets allowed at the event and proof of vaccinations is required (county license will suffice). Other considerations:
• One handler per pup
• Dogs must be leashed outside of the swimming area
• No retractable leashes (maximum length 6-feet)
• Owners must clean up after their dogs
• No dogs under three months
• Leave dogs in heat at home
• Keep aggressive and overly timid dogs at home
• Handlers are to observe their dog for heat exhaustion
