Here’s an opportunity to view the full moon on the rise in a park setting (weather permitting) when you go to Savannas Preserve State Park, 700 block of Northeast Jensen Beach Boulevard, east of Green River Parkway intersection, Jensen Beach on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 5 p.m. FREE with paid park admission of $3 per vehicle. A ranger will lead the tour, with participants asked to meet in the parking lot. Suggestion: Bring camera and tripod or cell phone for pictures. Also, bring water and bug spray and wear closed-toe shoes. Reservations: 772-398-2779.
