Job Title: Irrigation Construction team member
Job Summary:
The irrigation construction team member will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of the other team members on the irrigation construction site.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Prepares layout area where construction will take place by properly measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.
- Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned. This may include digging trenches; cleaning up debris, and trash; or removing hazardous materials if/when needed.
- Pre-fabricates sub-assemblies as per sample provided by foreman.
- Cut, glue lateral line pipe, fitting, cut and assemble drip tubing, fitting
- Capability of hand back filling
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in construction sites preferable with irrigation systems.
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
- Work involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- Extensive physical activity, ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day.
- Work requires heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
