Local engineering consulting firm seeks part-time Financial Assistant for in-office support. Office hours will be consistent and limited to 25 hours a week, year-round. Ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in professional bookkeeping, high ethical standards, and accurate, timely work.
This position supports the Financial Manager. Duties include and are not limited to:
- Support company procedures for accounting, financial records, and records retention
- Record company expenses and reimbursements in Quickbooks
- Assist with processing payments and bills from vendors
- Request vendors contact records and collect W9s
- Assist with invoicing and accounts receivable
- Assist with conflict checks for incoming projects and clients
Requirements for this position include:
- Minimum of associate’s degree in finance or accounting at an accredited college or university
- Highly proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Minimum of three (3) years professional bookkeeping experience
- Deep knowledge of accounting principles and standard accounting processes
- Clear and direct communication skills
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
