Receptionist Job Description

Job Overview

  • As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, greeting and welcoming visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and providing general administrative support.
  • You will also be responsible for managing the front desk, creating and invoicing in-shop service tickets, and handling the mail and deliveries.
  • You will work closely with other staff members and report to the operations manager.

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls as appropriate.
  • Manage the front desk, ensuring it is tidy and organized.
  • Handle the mail and deliveries, sort and distribute them to the relevant departments.
  • Creating and invoicing in-shop service tickets.
  • Provide general administrative support to other staff members, such as typing, filing, copying, scanning, and scheduling appointments.
  • Follow the company policies and procedures and adhere to the health and safety standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role a plus but will train.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a sometimes fast paced and dynamic environment, and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
