All Three Martin County High Schools Recognized Among Florida’s Best by U.S. News & World Report

Stuart, FL All Three Martin County School District high schools have been recognized among the top-performing schools in Florida and across the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025-2026 Best High Schools rankings.
 
  • Jensen Beach High School – ranked #133 in Florida, up from #145 in 2024; Top 11% nationally
 
  • Martin County High School – ranked #230 in Florida, up from #233 in 2024; Top 16% nationally
 
  • South Fork High School – ranked #314 in Florida, up from #328 in 2024; Top 24% nationally
 
Each year, U.S. News & World Report evaluates nearly 24,000 public high schools nationwide based on academic performance, graduation rates, and college readiness. Schools ranked in the top 40% nationally earn the distinction of being named a “Best High School.”
 
“We are incredibly proud of our schools, students, and educators for earning this recognition,” Superintendent Michael Maine said. “These rankings highlight the rigorous instruction taking place in our classrooms and the commitment our teachers and staff demonstrate each day to ensure students graduate prepared for success in college, careers, and life.”
