Martin County Musician Jason Montero a Finalist for “Best Local Musician” in Stuart Magazine’s 2025 Awards

Stuart, FL – May 2025 — Martin County-based musician and chamber member Jason Montero has been named one of three finalists for Best Local Musician in Stuart Magazine’s annual “Best of Stuart and the Treasure Coast” awards.

A familiar face across Martin and St. Lucie counties, Montero has been a fixture in the local music scene for over two decades, performing both as a solo artist and with his groups The Jason Montero Trio, Sour Mash, and the high-energy electric band The Bad Habits. His versatile blend of classic rock, soul, blues, and Americana continues to resonate with audiences at favorite local venues and special events throughout the Treasure Coast.

“This nomination is a real honor—and a reflection of how strong and supportive our community is,” says Montero. “Many of my best gigs, collaborations, and relationships have come through local connections like those at the Chamber.”
