Dear Fellow Floridian,
As a new school year begins, I want to wish Florida's students, parents, teachers, administrators, staff members, and resource officers a great start to the year. Florida is home to the best teachers in the country, who work tirelessly to partner with parents to provide each student with an education that works best for them. As you prepare to go back to school, now is the time to purchase qualifying school supplies, which will be exempt from sales taxes in Florida starting August 1st through August 31st!
Florida's students are the future of our country, and our investment in their success is vital. Thanks to the dedicated work of educators, administrators and resource officers, our students are receiving the best education in a safe environment.
